Information about the equality plan

The employer has a statutory obligation to inform all employees of the equality plan. Information regarding the plan can be shared e.g. during seminars, through internal information networks, in employee magazines and during briefings.

A communication plan laying out how information on the equality plan and the results of the monitoring are shared with the employees will be included in the equality plan. Information on how the plan is being implemented can also be shared in human resource statements and human resource reports. Describing how equality is improving in these statements and reports shows that equality matters have become part of normal personnel policy in the workplace.
