The Finnish Equality Act does not govern commercial advertising
Discriminatory commercial advertising is governed by the
marketing provisions of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, and
the authority responsible for monitoring compliance is the Finnish
Consumer Ombudsman.

Queries regarding equality in commercial advertising can also be
addressed to the Council of Ethics in Advertising in Finland, which
acts as a self-regulatory body for the commercial sector. The
council issues statements on the ethical acceptability, but not in
illegality, of advertising.
